Camping la Raudiere, St Maurice la Fougereuse, Loire valley, France

Camping la Raudiere is set in beautiful countryside in the heart of rural France, 1 kilometre outside the charming hamlets of St Maurice la Fougereuse and St Paul du Bois. This small friendly quiet site has a total of 24 static homes situated around the park.

There is a fully licensed bar which is open every day during the summer. If you fancy a night not cooking the bar also serves food. Your hosts, Tracy and Pete, who live in the farmhouse on the site are both English and are available to help with information of local things to see and do. They employ both English and French bar staff during the summer months. There are some activities organised at the bar, theme nights, wine tasting, quiz evenings, pool and darts contests and BBQs, all of which are attended by the local French as well as ex pats. Quite often while a wine tasting evening is being held within the bar a children's activities will be organised outside to help you relax.

The campsite has its own well maintained heated swimming pool, barbecue area, children's play area, table tennis and a boules court. The Site has an animal corner with friendly sheep, chicken, ducks and miniature goats. There is also a small lake, great for teaching children to fish or you can buy permits for one of the many fishing lakes in the area.

Fishing rods and bikes can be hired from the bar.
